Ingredients
  

Dough
  • 4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup milk warm
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter melted
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 packet active dry yeast
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
Filling
  • 1 cup cream cheese softened
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Topping
  • 1 cup colored sugar yellow, green, and purple

Method
 

Prepare the Dough
  1. In a mixing bowl, combine warm milk, sugar, and yeast. Let it sit for 5 minutes until frothy.
  2. Add melted butter, eggs, salt, and cinnamon to the yeast mixture. Mix well.
  3. Gradually add flour, mixing until a dough forms. Knead for about 5-7 minutes until smooth.
  4. Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover, and let it rise in a warm place for 1 hour.
Prepare the Filling
  1. In a bowl, mix softened cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth.
Assemble the Cake
  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Roll out the dough on a floured surface into a rectangle.
  3. Spread the cream cheese filling evenly over the dough.
  4. Roll the dough tightly into a log and shape it into a ring, pinching the ends together.
  5. Place the ring on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Let it rise for another 30 minutes.
  6. Bake for 25-30 minutes until golden brown. Let it cool.
  7. Decorate with colored sugar before serving.
