Marinade Ingredients
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 1/4 cup lime juice freshly squeezed
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 teaspoon ground cumin
  • 1 teaspoon chili powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper freshly ground
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon fresh cilantro chopped

Method
 

Prepare the Marinade
  1. In a mixing bowl, combine olive oil, lime juice, soy sauce, and honey.
  2. Add minced garlic, ground cumin, chili powder, smoked paprika, black pepper, salt, and chopped cilantro.
  3. Whisk all ingredients together until well combined.
Marinate the Steak
  1. Place your steak in a resealable plastic bag or shallow dish.
  2. Pour the marinade over the steak, ensuring it is well coated.
  3. Seal the bag or cover the dish and refrigerate for at least 1 hour, preferably overnight for best flavor.
