Ingredients
  

  • 6 medium fresh peaches peeled and sliced
  • 1 cup granulated sugar adjust based on peach ripeness
  • 2 tablespoons cornstarch
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1 homemade or store-bought pie crust 2 crusts

Method
 

  1. Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
  2. In a bowl, toss sliced peaches with sugar, cornstarch, lemon juice, and cinnamon. Let sit for about 10 minutes.
  3. Roll out your pie crust and place one layer in a pie dish.
  4. Pour the peach mixture into the crust evenly.
  5. Cover with another layer of dough, sealing the edges by crimping.
