Ingredients
  

  • 3-4 boneless skinless chicken breasts (about 1.5 lbs)
  • 6 slices thick-cut bacon
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 4 cloves garlic minced
  • 1/4 cup low-sodium soy sauce
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper

Method
 

  1. Place the chicken breasts in the bottom of the slow cooker.
  2. Cook the bacon in a skillet over medium heat until crispy. Let cool, crumble, and reserve some grease.
  3. In a bowl, mix brown sugar, soy sauce, minced garlic, crumbled bacon, and reserved grease.
  4. Pour the mixture over the chicken in the slow cooker.
  5. Cover and cook on low for 6 hours or high for 3 hours.
  6. Once cooked through and tender, serve with remaining sauce drizzled on top.
