Ingredients
  

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1 cup unsalted butter softened (226g)
  • 1 cup brown sugar packed (220g)
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar 100g
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 8 oz cream cheese softened (227g)
  • 1/2 cup salted caramel sauce

Method
 

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line two baking sheets with parchment paper.
  2. In a bowl, whisk together the flour and baking soda.
  3. In another bowl, cream the softened butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until fluffy. Add eggs one at a time along with vanilla extract.
  4. Gently fold in the softened cream cheese until smooth.
  5. Gradually mix in the dry ingredients until just combined.
  6. Drop rounded tablespoons of dough onto prepared baking sheets about two inches apart.
  7. Drizzle with salted caramel sauce before baking for 12-15 minutes until golden around the edges but soft in the center.
