- Add eggs one at a time to the creamed mixture, mixing well after each addition. Gradually stir in the milk until combined.
- Divide the batter into six bowls; add gel food coloring to each for vibrant layers.
- Pour each colored batter into prepared pans and bake for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Allow cakes to cool for 10 minutes before transferring them to wire racks. Once cooled, stack with frosting between layers.
