  • 1 cup fresh pineapple, diced Use ripe pineapple for best flavor.
Peppers
  • 2 pieces habanero peppers, chopped Adjust quantity for desired heat.
Vinegar
  • 1/2 cup white vinegar
Seasonings
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 tablespoon sugar Optional, to balance heat.
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder

Method
 

Prepare the Ingredients
  1. Dice the fresh pineapple and chop the habanero peppers, removing seeds if desired.
Blend the Sauce
  1. In a blender, combine the diced pineapple, chopped habanero peppers, white vinegar, salt, sugar, and garlic powder. Blend until smooth.
Cook the Sauce
  1. Pour the blended mixture into a saucepan and bring to a simmer over medium heat. Cook for about 10-15 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Cool and Store
  1. Remove from heat and let the sauce cool. Transfer to a jar and refrigerate. Use within 2-3 weeks.

Notes
