Ingredients
  

  • 1 lb flank steak thinly sliced
  • 1 cup bell peppers red, yellow, green, sliced
  • 1 medium onion sliced
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1 cup provolone cheese shredded
  • 2 tbsp olive oil

Method
 

  1. Slice the flank steak against the grain into thin strips. Prepare the bell peppers and onion by slicing them into thin strips.
  2. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat until shimmering.
  3. Add sliced onions and bell peppers; sauté for about 5 minutes until softened and golden brown.
  4. Push veggies to the side and add flank steak strips to the skillet. Season with salt, pepper, and minced garlic; cook for another 5 minutes until meat is browned.
  5. Sprinkle shredded provolone cheese over the mixture. Lower heat slightly and cover with a lid for about 2 minutes until cheese melts.
  6. Serve immediately from the pan or plate it up with a drizzle of hot sauce if desired.
