Method
 

  1. Pat salmon fillets dry and season both sides with salt and pepper.
  2. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat until shimmering.
  3. Place salmon skin-side down in the pan; cook for 6 minutes without moving.
  4. Gently flip the fillets, add butter and lemon juice to the skillet.
  5. Baste the salmon with melted butter for another 4 minutes until cooked through.
  6. Remove from heat, garnish with fresh herbs, and serve immediately.
