Ingredients

Dough
  • 2 cups All-Purpose Flour Plus extra for dusting
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 teaspoon Sugar
  • 1 packet Active Dry Yeast About 2 1/4 teaspoons
  • 3/4 cup Warm Water Around 110°F
  • 1 tablespoon Olive Oil
Toppings
  • 1 cup Pizza Sauce Store-bought or homemade
  • 2 cups Shredded Mozzarella Cheese
  • 1 cup Sliced Pepperoni
  • 1 cup Sliced Bell Peppers Any color
  • 1 tablespoon Dried Oregano

Method

Prepare the Dough
  1. In a mixing bowl, combine warm water, sugar, and yeast. Let it sit for 5 minutes until frothy.
  2. In another bowl, mix flour and salt. Gradually add the yeast mixture and olive oil, stirring until a dough forms.
  3. Knead the dough on a floured surface for about 5-7 minutes until smooth. Place in a greased bowl, cover, and let rise for 1 hour.
Assemble the Pizza
  1. Preheat the outdoor pizza oven according to the manufacturer's instructions.
  2. Once the dough has risen, punch it down and divide it into two equal portions. Roll out each portion on a floured surface to your desired thickness.
  3. Transfer the rolled dough to a pizza peel. Spread pizza sauce over the surface, then top with mozzarella cheese, pepperoni, bell peppers, and oregano.
Cook the Pizza
  1. Carefully slide the pizza from the peel into the preheated pizza oven.
  2. Cook for about 8-10 minutes, or until the crust is golden and the cheese is bubbly.
  3. Remove the pizza from the oven, let it cool for a minute, slice, and serve hot.
