Prepare the Filling
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). In a mixing bowl, combine sliced peaches, sugar, lemon juice, cinnamon, and cornstarch. Toss to coat the peaches evenly.
Make the Crust
- In another bowl, mix together flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt. Stir in milk and melted butter until just combined.
Assemble and Bake
- Pour the peach mixture into a greased 9-inch baking dish. Pour the crust batter over the peaches, spreading it evenly.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 40-45 minutes, or until the crust is golden brown and the filling is bubbly.
