Ingredients
  

Matcha Cream
  • 1 cup mascarpone cheese
  • 1 cup heavy cream chilled
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 2 tablespoons matcha powder plus extra for dusting
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Coffee Mixture
  • 1 cup strong brewed coffee cooled
  • 2 tablespoons coffee liqueur optional
Ladyfingers
  • 24 pieces ladyfingers

Method
 

Prepare the Matcha Cream
  1. In a mixing bowl, whisk together the mascarpone cheese, powdered sugar, matcha powder, and vanilla extract until smooth.
  2. In a separate bowl, whip the heavy cream until stiff peaks form.
  3. Gently fold the whipped cream into the matcha mixture until fully combined.
Prepare the Coffee Mixture
  1. In a shallow dish, combine the cooled coffee and coffee liqueur (if using).
Assemble the Tiramisu
  1. Quickly dip each ladyfinger into the coffee mixture, ensuring they are soaked but not soggy.
  2. Layer half of the soaked ladyfingers in the bottom of a 9x9 inch baking dish.
  3. Spread half of the matcha cream over the ladyfingers.
  4. Repeat the layers with the remaining ladyfingers and matcha cream.
  5. Cover and refrigerate for at least 4 hours, preferably overnight.
Serve
  1. Before serving, dust the top with additional matcha powder.
  2. Cut into squares and enjoy your Matcha Tiramisu!

Notes
