Method
Prepare the Broccoli
- Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the broccoli florets and blanch for 2-3 minutes until bright green and tender-crisp.
- Drain the broccoli and immediately transfer it to a bowl of ice water to stop the cooking process. Drain again after a few minutes.
Make the Sauce
- In a mixing bowl, whisk together the soy sauce, sesame oil, rice vinegar, sugar, minced garlic, grated ginger, and toasted sesame seeds until well combined.
Combine and Serve
- Toss the blanched broccoli with the sauce until evenly coated. Serve immediately or chill in the refrigerator for a refreshing cold side dish.
