Ingredients
  

Main Ingredients
  • 4 cups ripe kiwis peeled and chopped
  • 2 cups granulated sugar
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice freshly squeezed
  • 1 packet pectin optional, for thicker jam

Method
 

Prepare the Kiwis
  1. Peel and chop the ripe kiwis into small pieces.
Cook the Jam
  1. In a saucepan, combine the chopped kiwis, sugar, and lemon juice.
  2. Cook over medium heat, stirring frequently until the mixture comes to a boil.
  3. If using, add the pectin and continue to boil for an additional 5 minutes.
  4. Remove from heat and let cool slightly.
Jar the Jam
  1. Pour the hot jam into sterilized jars using a ladle.
  2. Seal the jars and let them cool completely at room temperature.

Notes
