Ingredients
  

Dressing Base
  • 6 slices bacon chopped
  • 1/4 cup apple cider vinegar
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
  • 1/4 cup onion finely chopped
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper

Method
 

Prepare the Bacon
  1. In a skillet over medium heat, cook the chopped bacon until crispy. Remove the bacon and set aside, leaving the drippings in the skillet.
Make the Dressing
  1. Add the chopped onion to the skillet and sauté in the bacon drippings until translucent.
  2. Stir in the apple cider vinegar, brown sugar, Dijon mustard, and black pepper. Bring to a simmer.
  3. Remove from heat and stir in the cooked bacon.
Serve
  1. Drizzle the hot bacon dressing over your favorite salad and enjoy.

This dressing is best served warm. Adjust the sweetness by adding more or less brown sugar to taste.
