Ingredients
  

  • 1 can 28 oz San Marzano tomatoes
  • 3 cloves fresh garlic minced
  • 2 tsp dried oregano
  • 2 tsp dried basil
  • 2 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Method
 

  1. 1. Heat olive oil in a large saucepan over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant, about 1 minute.
  2. 2. Pour in the canned San Marzano tomatoes, stirring gently to combine.
  3. 3. Add dried oregano, dried basil, salt, and pepper. Mix well.
  4. 4. Reduce heat to low and let the sauce simmer for 20-30 minutes to allow flavors to meld.
  5. 5. For a smoother texture, blend the sauce using an immersion blender or traditional blender.
