  • 2 cups High-Protein Flour Look for flour that contains at least 12% protein.
  • 2 medium Jalapeños Fresh, diced jalapeños.
  • 1 cup Greek Yogurt Plain for moisture and added protein.
  • 1 tablespoon Baking Powder Key for lift and texture.
  • 1 large Egg For egg wash.
  • 1 tablespoon Water For mixing with egg for egg wash.

Method
 

Baking Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine high-protein flour, baking powder, and diced jalapeños. Mix until well combined before adding Greek yogurt.
  3. Transfer the dough onto a floured surface and knead for about 5 minutes until it becomes smooth and elastic.
  4. Divide the dough into equal portions (about six) and shape each piece into a ball. Poke a hole in the center and stretch gently to form bagels.
  5. In a small bowl, whisk an egg with a tablespoon of water. Brush this mixture over each bagel before baking.
  6. Place the bagels on a lined baking sheet and bake in the preheated oven for about 20 minutes or until they’re golden brown.
