Ingredients
  

Biscuits
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter melted
  • 1 cup buttermilk
  • 1 cup diced ham
  • 1 cup shredded cheese cheddar or your choice
Butter Sauce
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter melted
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon dried parsley

Method
 

Prepare the Biscuits
  1. Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt.
  3. Add the melted butter and buttermilk to the dry ingredients and stir until just combined.
  4. Fold in the diced ham and shredded cheese until evenly distributed.
  5. Drop spoonfuls of the biscuit dough onto a greased baking sheet.
Make the Butter Sauce
  1. In a small bowl, combine the melted butter, garlic powder, and dried parsley.
  2. Pour the butter sauce evenly over the biscuit dough on the baking sheet.
Bake
  1. Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes or until the biscuits are golden brown.
  2. Remove from the oven and let cool slightly before serving.
