Grilled Lemon Herb Trout

Ingredients
  

For the Marinade
  • 1 cup olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice freshly squeezed
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley chopped
  • 1 tablespoon fresh dill chopped
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
For the Trout
  • 4 pieces trout fillets skin on

Method
 

Prepare the Marinade
  1. In a mixing bowl, combine olive oil, lemon juice, minced garlic, parsley, dill, salt, and pepper. Whisk until well blended.
Marinate the Trout
  1. Place the trout fillets in a shallow dish and pour the marinade over them. Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes.
Grill the Trout
  1. Preheat the grill to medium-high heat. Remove the trout from the marinade and discard the marinade.
  2. Place the trout skin-side down on the grill. Cook for about 5 minutes, then carefully flip and cook for an additional 5 minutes, or until the fish flakes easily with a fork.
Serve
  1. Remove from the grill and serve immediately with lemon wedges.

Notes
