Ingredients
  

Meatballs
  • 1 lb ground turkey
  • 1 cup bread crumbs preferably whole wheat
  • 1 large egg
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 tbsp fresh parsley chopped
  • 1 tbsp fresh oregano chopped
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp feta cheese crumbled
Tzatziki Sauce
  • 1 cup Greek yogurt
  • 1 medium cucumber grated and drained
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 tbsp fresh dill chopped
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp black pepper

Method
 

Prepare the Meatballs
  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine ground turkey, bread crumbs, egg, garlic, parsley, oregano, salt, pepper, and feta cheese.
  3. Mix until just combined, being careful not to overmix.
  4. Form the mixture into meatballs, about 1 inch in diameter, and place them on a baking sheet.
  5. Bake for 20-25 minutes or until cooked through and golden brown.
Make the Tzatziki Sauce
  1. In a bowl, combine Greek yogurt, grated cucumber, garlic, dill, lemon juice, salt, and pepper.
  2. Mix well and refrigerate until ready to serve.
Serve
  1. Serve the meatballs warm with a side of tzatziki sauce for dipping.
