Ingredients
  

  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter 1 stick
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 3/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 3 large eggs
  • 2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 cup semi-sweet or dark chocolate chips

Method
 

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a pie pan with nonstick spray or butter.
  2. In a saucepan over low heat, melt the butter. Remove from heat and mix in granulated sugar and brown sugar until combined.
  3. Allow the mixture to cool slightly before whisking in the eggs one at a time and adding vanilla extract until smooth.
  4. In a separate bowl, mix flour and cocoa powder together. Gradually fold into the wet ingredients until just combined. Stir in chocolate chips.
  5. Pour the batter into the prepared baking dish and bake for 25-30 minutes until edges are set but center is still soft.
  6. Let cool for 10 minutes before slicing and serving warm with ice cream if desired.
