Method
 

  1. Prepare the yeast mixture by combining warm water and sugar. Sprinkle active dry yeast on top and let it sit for 5 minutes until frothy.
  2. In a mixing bowl, whisk together flour and salt. Add melted butter and garlic powder, then pour in the yeast mixture and stir until combined.
  3. Transfer the dough to a floured surface and knead for about 8 minutes until smooth and elastic.
  4. Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover with a damp cloth, and let it rise in a warm area for about 1 hour or until doubled in size.
  5. Punch down the dough gently, divide into 12 equal pieces, shape into balls, and place them on a greased baking sheet.
  6. Cover shaped rolls with cling film or a towel and allow them to rise again for 30 minutes.
  7. Bake in a preheated oven at 375°F (190°C) for 15-20 minutes until golden brown.
