Ingredients
  

  • 3 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 packet 2 1/4 tsp active dry yeast
  • 1 cup warm water 110°F
  • 2 tbsp granulated sugar
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter melted
  • 4 cloves fresh garlic minced

Method
 

  1. Activate the yeast by mixing warm water and sugar in a bowl. Sprinkle the yeast on top; let it sit for 5-10 minutes until frothy.
  2. In a large bowl, combine flour and salt. Create a well in the center.
  3. Pour the yeast mixture into the well along with melted butter and minced garlic. Stir until combined.
  4. Knead dough on a floured surface for about 8-10 minutes until smooth and elastic.
  5. Place dough in a greased bowl, cover with a towel, and let it rise for about an hour or until doubled in size.
  6. Punch down the dough, divide into equal pieces, shape into rolls, and place in a greased baking dish. Let rise for another 30 minutes.
  7. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Bake rolls for 20-25 minutes until golden brown.
