Ingredients
  

Squash
  • 2 medium Yellow Squash sliced into rounds
  • 1 cup All-Purpose Flour for coating
  • 1 teaspoon Salt to taste
  • 1 teaspoon Black Pepper to taste
  • 1 cup Vegetable Oil for frying

Method
 

Prepare the Squash
  1. Wash the yellow squash and slice it into rounds about 1/4 inch thick.
Coat the Squash
  1. In a bowl, mix the flour, salt, and black pepper. Dredge each squash slice in the flour mixture until well coated.
Fry the Squash
  1. Heat the vegetable oil in a frying pan over medium heat. Once hot, add the coated squash slices in batches, frying until golden brown on both sides, about 3-4 minutes per side.
Drain and Serve
  1. Remove the fried squash from the pan and place them on paper towels to drain excess oil. Serve hot.
