Method

- In a mixing bowl, beat the softened butter until creamy.
- Gradually add powdered sugar and vanilla extract, mixing until smooth.
- Add milk as needed to achieve desired consistency.
Assemble the Macarons
- Pair the macaron shells by size and spread or pipe the filling onto the flat side of one shell.
- Top with another shell to create a sandwich and gently press together.
- Let the assembled macarons rest in the refrigerator for at least 24 hours for best flavor.
