Prepare the Dough
- In a mixing bowl, combine the gluten-free flour, baking powder, salt, and sugar.
- In a separate bowl, mix the warm water, olive oil, and apple cider vinegar.
- Gradually add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients, mixing until a dough forms.
- Knead the dough for a few minutes until smooth.
Shape the Bagels
- Divide the dough into 4 equal pieces.
- Roll each piece into a ball and then poke a hole in the center to form a bagel shape.
Boil the Bagels
- Bring a large pot of water to a boil.
- Carefully drop the bagels into the boiling water, cooking for 1-2 minutes on each side.
- Remove with a slotted spoon and place on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
Bake the Bagels
- Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C).
- Sprinkle the bagels with sesame or poppy seeds if desired.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown.
