Ingredients
  

  • 2 lbs pork ribs baby back or spare
  • 1 cup barbecue sauce
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp black pepper
  • 2 tsp garlic powder
  • 2 tsp onion powder
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar

Method
 

  1. Preheat your oven to 300°F (150°C).
  2. Rinse and pat dry the pork ribs, removing the silver skin from the back.
  3. In a bowl, mix brown sugar, salt, pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder to create the dry rub.
  4. Generously season both sides of the ribs with the dry rub.
  5. Wrap the seasoned ribs tightly in aluminum foil and place them on a baking sheet.
  6. Bake in the preheated oven for 2.5 to 3 hours until tender.
  7. Unwrap the ribs carefully, brush with barbecue sauce; return to oven uncovered at 350°F (175°C) for another 30 minutes to caramelize.
