Ingredients
  

  • 1 box yellow cake mix 15.25 oz
  • 3 large eggs
  • 2/3 cup vegetable oil
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 package Jell-O mix 3 oz – assorted flavors
  • 1 tub whipped topping 8 oz
  • Colorful sprinkles

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9x13-inch baking dish.
  2. In a bowl, combine cake mix, eggs, vegetable oil, and water; mix until smooth.
  3. Pour batter into the prepared dish and bake for 30-35 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean. Allow to cool completely.
  4. Poke holes in the cooled cake about 1 inch apart using a fork.
  5. Prepare Jell-O according to package instructions using half the recommended water, then pour over the holes in the cake.
  6. Refrigerate for at least two hours until set. Spread whipped topping over the cake and decorate with sprinkles before serving.
