Ingredients
  

Cake Base
  • 1 box cake mix any flavor
  • 1 cup water
  • 1/3 cup vegetable oil
  • 3 large eggs
Frosting
  • 1/2 cup buttercream frosting store-bought or homemade
Coating
  • 2 cups candy melts various colors
  • 1/4 cup sprinkles for decoration

Method
 

Prepare the Cake
  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Prepare the cake mix according to package instructions using water, oil, and eggs.
  2. Pour the batter into a greased baking sheet and bake for 15-20 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  3. Allow the cake to cool completely.
Make Cake Pops
  1. Crumble the cooled cake into a large mixing bowl.
  2. Add the buttercream frosting and mix until combined.
  3. Form the mixture into egg shapes and place them on a baking sheet.
  4. Insert cake pop sticks into each egg and freeze for about 30 minutes.
Coat the Cake Pops
  1. Melt the candy melts in the microwave according to package instructions.
  2. Dip each cake pop into the melted candy, ensuring it is fully coated.
  3. Sprinkle with decorations before the coating sets.
  4. Place the cake pops upright in a styrofoam block to cool and set completely.
