Ingredients
  

  • 2 pounds pork or beef ribs baby back or spare
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 cup barbecue sauce homemade or store-bought
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons paprika
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder

Method
 

  1. 1. Preheat oven to 300°F (150°C).
  2. 2. Remove the membrane from the back of the ribs and pat dry.
  3. 3. Rub olive oil over both sides of the ribs.
  4. 4. In a bowl, mix paprika, brown sugar, garlic powder, salt, and pepper; apply generously to the ribs.
  5. 5. Place on a baking sheet lined with foil and cover tightly with another piece of foil. Bake for about three hours until tender.
  6. 6. Brush barbecue sauce on both sides of the ribs and broil for five minutes until caramelized.
