Ingredients
  

  • 1 lb fresh portobello or cremini mushrooms
  • 2 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
  • 1 tbsp low-sodium soy sauce
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • ½ tsp freshly ground black pepper

Method
 

  1. Preheat your grill to medium-high heat (400°F/200°C) and clean the grates.
  2. Gently wipe mushrooms with a damp cloth; do not rinse under water.
  3. In a bowl, mix olive oil, soy sauce, garlic powder, and black pepper.
  4. Toss cleaned mushrooms in the marinade until evenly coated.
  5. Place mushrooms on skewers or directly on the grill.
  6. Grill for 4-5 minutes per side until tender and charred.
  7. Serve warm, drizzled with additional olive oil or fresh herbs if desired.
