Ingredients
  

  • 1 15.25 oz box chocolate cake mix
  • 1 quart vanilla ice cream softened
  • 1 cup chocolate fudge sauce
  • 1 cup crushed Oreo cookies
  • 2 cups whipped topping
  • Sprinkles optional

Method
 

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Prepare your baking pan according to package instructions and pour in the chocolate cake mix. Bake for about 30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
  2. Allow the cake to cool completely in the pan.
  3. Once cooled, slice the cake in half horizontally and place one layer on a serving platter.
  4. Spread half of the softened vanilla ice cream over the first layer, then drizzle with chocolate fudge sauce. Place the second layer of cake on top.
  5. Spread another layer of vanilla ice cream on top of the second cake layer, then frost with whipped topping.
  6. Decorate with crushed Oreos and sprinkles if desired. Cover tightly with plastic wrap and freeze for at least four hours before serving.
