Ingredients
  

  • 4 boneless skinless chicken breasts about 1.5 lbs
  • 2 cups low-sodium chicken broth
  • 1 12 oz box stuffing mix
  • 2 cups canned green beans or fresh, steamed
  • 1 packet onion soup mix
  • 2 tablespoons butter

Method
 

  1. Prepare ingredients. If using fresh green beans, steam them briefly.
  2. Layer the bottom of the crock pot with chicken breasts. Pour in chicken broth and sprinkle onion soup mix over the top.
  3. Add stuffing mix on top of the chicken and broth—no mixing necessary.
  4. Dot the stuffing with butter for added moisture.
  5. Gently place green beans on top without stirring.
  6. Cover and cook on low for 6 hours or high for 3 hours until chicken is tender.
