Ingredients
  

  • 3-4 boneless skinless chicken breasts (about 1 lb)
  • 8 oz linguine pasta
  • 6 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 4 garlic cloves minced
  • 1/4 cup fresh parsley chopped
  • 2 tbsp freshly squeezed lemon juice
  • 1 cup low-sodium chicken broth
  • 1/4 tsp cayenne pepper
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Method
 

  1. In a large pot of salted boiling water, cook linguine according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a skillet over medium heat, melt 2 tablespoons of butter. Season chicken with salt and pepper; sauté for 6-7 minutes on each side until golden brown and cooked through. Remove from heat and let rest.
  3. In the same skillet, melt remaining butter and add minced garlic. Cook for about one minute until fragrant. Stir in lemon juice, chicken broth, and cayenne pepper; simmer gently.
  4. Slice cooked chicken into strips, then toss with linguine in the sauce until well coated.
  5. Sprinkle chopped parsley over the dish before serving.
