Ingredients
  

  • 1 loaf Kings Hawaiian Sweet Bread (cut into pieces)
  • 1 cup milk (warm)
  • 1 large egg (beaten)
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar (packed)
  • 2 tablespoons ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter (softened)
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 2 tablespoons milk (adjust for consistency)
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Method
 

  1. Combine the Kings Hawaiian Sweet Bread pieces with warm milk, a beaten egg, and vanilla extract in a mixing bowl.
  2. Set aside the mixture for about 10 minutes.
  3. Mix together brown sugar and ground cinnamon in a separate bowl.
  4. Spread softened butter generously over the dough mixture, then sprinkle the cinnamon-sugar mixture evenly on top.
  5. Shape the dough into a log by rolling it tightly, then cut it into equal pieces.
  6. Place the rolls in a greased baking dish and let them rise for approximately 20 minutes.
  7. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C), then bake the rolls for 25 minutes.
  8. Whisk powdered sugar with milk and vanilla extract in a bowl until smooth.
  9. Drizzle the icing over warm cinnamon rolls just before serving.
