Ingredients
  

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • ½ tsp salt
  • 1 cup unsalted butter softened
  • ¾ cup brown sugar packed
  • ¾ cup granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips

Method
 

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a baking dish or line it with parchment paper.
  2. In a bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt; set aside.
  3. In another bowl, cream together the softened butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until light and fluffy.
  4. Beat in the eggs one at a time along with the vanilla extract until fully incorporated.
  5. Gradually mix the dry ingredients into the wet ingredients until just combined. Fold in the chocolate chips.
  6. Spread the batter evenly in the prepared baking dish and bake for 25-30 minutes or until golden brown around the edges. Let cool before cutting into squares.
