Ingredients
  

  • 4 boneless skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 cup buttermilk
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup cornstarch
  • 2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1 cup vegetable oil for frying

Method
 

  1. 1. Marinate the chicken in buttermilk for at least 1 hour.
  2. 2. In a bowl, mix flour, cornstarch, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
  3. 3. Heat vegetable oil in a skillet over medium-high heat until it reaches around 350°F (175°C).
  4. 4. Remove the chicken from buttermilk and dredge in the flour mixture until fully coated.
  5. 5. Fry each piece for 6-8 minutes per side until golden brown and cooked through (internal temperature of at least 165°F).
  6. 6. Drain on paper towels and serve hot with your favorite sides.
