Ingredients
  

Casserole Base
  • 2 cups cooked chicken, shredded Rotisserie chicken works well.
  • 1 cup ham, diced
  • 1 cup Swiss cheese, shredded
  • 1 cup cream of chicken soup Condensed.
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
Topping
  • 1 cup bread crumbs Panko for extra crunch.
  • 1/4 cup butter, melted
  • 1/2 cup Swiss cheese, shredded

Method
 

Prepare the Casserole
  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the shredded chicken, diced ham, Swiss cheese, cream of chicken soup, milk, Dijon mustard, garlic powder, and black pepper.
  3. Mix until well combined and pour into a greased 9x13 inch baking dish.
Add the Topping
  1. In a separate bowl, mix the bread crumbs with melted butter and half a cup of Swiss cheese.
  2. Sprinkle the breadcrumb mixture evenly over the casserole.
Bake
  1. Bake in the preheated oven for 30-35 minutes, or until the casserole is bubbly and the topping is golden brown.
  2. Let it cool for a few minutes before serving.

Notes

This casserole can be prepared ahead of time and stored in the refrigerator before baking. Just increase the baking time if baking from cold.
