Ingredients
  

Pork
  • 3 pounds pork shoulder cut into large chunks
Spices
  • 1 tablespoon cumin
  • 1 tablespoon oregano
  • 1 tablespoon chili powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
Aromatics
  • 1 medium onion chopped
  • 4 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 medium orange juiced
  • 1 medium lime juiced
Liquid
  • 1 cup chicken broth

Method
 

Prepare the Pork
  1. In a large bowl, combine the cumin, oregano, chili powder, salt, and black pepper. Rub the spice mixture all over the pork shoulder pieces.
Set Up the Crockpot
  1. Place the chopped onion, minced garlic, and pork in the crockpot. Pour the orange and lime juice over the top, then add the chicken broth.
Cook
  1. Cover and cook on low for 8 hours or until the pork is tender and easily shreds with a fork.
Shred and Serve
  1. Remove the pork from the crockpot and shred it with two forks. Return the shredded pork to the crockpot and mix it with the juices. Serve in tacos, burritos, or as desired.

Notes

For extra flavor, broil the shredded pork for a few minutes after cooking to crisp the edges.
