Ingredients
  

  • 1 box 15.25 oz chocolate or vanilla cake mix
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1/2 cup buttercream frosting
  • 12 oz chocolate melts various colors
  • 12 lollipop sticks

Method
 

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Prepare a baking pan according to package directions and bake the cake mix for 25-30 minutes until golden brown.
  2. Cool the baked cake completely, then crumble it into fine pieces in a large bowl.
  3. Mix in 1/2 cup of frosting by hand until well combined.
  4. Roll the mixture into one-inch balls and place them on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
  5. Chill the balls in the fridge for at least 30 minutes to set.
  6. Melt the chocolate according to package instructions. Dip each chilled ball halfway in melted chocolate, insert lollipop sticks, and let them set on parchment paper.
