Ingredients
  

  • 4 cups stale bread challah or brioche, cubed
  • 2 cups whole milk or almond/oat milk for dairy-free
  • 3 large eggs
  • 3/4 cup granulated sugar or brown sugar for depth
  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1 tsp pure vanilla extract
  • 2 tbsp melted butter

Method
 

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a baking dish.
  2. Place cubed stale bread into the greased dish.
  3. In a bowl, whisk together eggs, milk, sugar, cinnamon, and vanilla until combined. Pour over the bread cubes and let sit for 15 minutes.
