Cake Preparation

- Add softened butter, milk, eggs, and vanilla extract. Beat on medium speed until smooth.
- Divide the batter evenly between the prepared pans.

- Let the cakes cool in the pans for 10 minutes, then remove from pans and cool completely on a wire rack.
Cheesecake Filling
- In a mixing bowl, beat the softened cream cheese and sugar until smooth.
- Add vanilla extract and eggs, mixing until fully incorporated.
- Gently fold in the blueberries.
- Pour the cheesecake filling over one of the cooled cake layers.
- Place the second cake layer on top and refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight.
Topping Preparation
- In a small saucepan, combine fresh blueberries, sugar, and lemon juice.
- Cook over medium heat until the blueberries start to burst and the mixture thickens, about 5-7 minutes.
- Let cool slightly before pouring over the cheesecake cake.

- Slice the cheesecake cake and serve with the blueberry topping.
