Ingredients
  

Batter
  • 1 cup milk whole or 2%
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup sugar granulated
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/4 tsp salt
Filling
  • 2 cups fresh blackberries washed and drained

Method
 

Prepare the Batter
  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, whisk together the milk, eggs, sugar, vanilla extract, and salt until well combined.
  3. Gradually add the flour, whisking until the batter is smooth and free of lumps.
Assemble and Bake
  1. Grease a baking dish with butter or cooking spray.
  2. Pour half of the batter into the prepared baking dish.
  3. Evenly distribute the blackberries over the batter.
  4. Pour the remaining batter over the blackberries.
  5. Bake in the preheated oven for 35-40 minutes, or until the clafoutis is puffed and golden brown.
  6. Allow to cool slightly before serving.
