- In a bowl, combine warm milk, sugar, and yeast; let sit until frothy (about 5 minutes). Mix in flour and melted butter.
- Knead the dough on a floured surface until smooth (about 8 minutes). Place in a greased bowl, cover, and let rise until doubled (about 1 hour).
- Combine brown sugar and cinnamon for the filling. Roll out the dough into a rectangle and spread softened butter over it. Sprinkle the sugar-cinnamon mixture evenly.
- Roll tightly from one edge into a log shape; slice into 12 pieces.
- Place rolls in a greased baking dish; cover and let rise until puffy (about 30 minutes). Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and bake for about 25 minutes or until golden brown.
- Drizzle with cream cheese frosting before serving.
