  • 1 lb beef sirloin sliced thin
  • 1 red bell pepper sliced
  • 1 green bell pepper sliced
  • 1 cup broccoli florets
  • 1 cup carrots thinly sliced
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 inch fresh ginger grated
  • 3 tbsp low-sodium soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp sesame oil
  • 2 tsp honey

Method
 

  1. Slice beef sirloin against the grain into thin strips.
  2. Chop bell peppers and broccoli into bite-sized pieces; slice carrots.
  3. In a bowl, mix soy sauce, honey, sesame oil, minced garlic, and grated ginger.
  4. Heat oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add beef and cook until browned (3-5 minutes).
  5. Add vegetables to the skillet and stir-fry until tender-crisp (about 3 minutes).
  6. Pour sauce over the stir-fry mixture; toss to coat and cook for an additional minute.
  7. Serve hot over rice or noodles.
