Ingredients
  

Shrimp
  • 1 pound large shrimp, peeled and deveined Tail-on or tail-off as preferred
Batter
  • 1 cup panko breadcrumbs
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 large egg beaten
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
Bang Bang Sauce
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 2 tablespoons sweet chili sauce
  • 1 tablespoon sriracha adjust to taste
Taco Assembly
  • 8 small corn tortillas
  • 1 cup shredded cabbage for topping
  • 1/4 cup fresh cilantro chopped, for garnish
  • 1 lime lime wedges for serving

Method
 

Prepare the Shrimp
  1. In a mixing bowl, combine flour, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper. Dredge each shrimp in the flour mixture, then dip in the beaten egg, and finally coat with panko breadcrumbs.
Cook the Shrimp
  1. Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C). Place the breaded shrimp in a single layer in the air fryer basket. Cook for 8-10 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through, until shrimp are golden and crispy.
Make the Bang Bang Sauce
  1. In a small bowl, whisk together mayonnaise, sweet chili sauce, and sriracha until smooth. Adjust sriracha to taste for desired spiciness.
Assemble the Tacos
  1. Warm the corn tortillas in a dry skillet. Place a few crispy shrimp on each tortilla, top with shredded cabbage, drizzle with bang bang sauce, and garnish with cilantro. Serve with lime wedges.
